In evening Hon'ble CM Pema Khandu along with Hon'ble minister Kamlung Mosang and Shri Sunny Singh, ADC Miao took a meeting with officials of Namdapha Tiger Reserve. Officials had pointed out the major issues faced by the tiger reserve. The major points discussed were regular payment of wages of casual staff, funding for research, Preservation of wildlife, encroachment, staff shortage, Inadequate road network for patrolling, Community conservation through Eco-development committee and Tourism growth. HCM looking deeply into each point had promised for the smooth running of the park and shared ideas on development of tourism by developing the new traditional eco-resorts showcasing the indigenous culture of the state.

On 26th March 2021 HCM and his team started their journey early at 05:00 a.m. towards Vijaynagar by car and on foot along the Miao-Vijaynagar road which pass through the Namdapha TR & NP. Shri Aduk Paron, AFD; Shri Son Yowa Hade, Deputy Ranger; Mayur H Variya, Field Biologist and four STPF from Namdapha TR & NP also travelled with HCM to Vijaynagar. During public meeting held at Gandhigram and Vijaynagar, HCM very importantly sensitised the local public regarding the importance of Namdapha which is a national asset. "Namdapha National Park is the only park in India to have four big cat species - leopard, tiger, clouded leopard and snow leopard. Spread over 1985sqkm, it offers wide range of habitation from tropical rainforests to alpine grasslands. It's one of the most beautiful places in Arunachal! Yobin community should form a resolution to spread awareness about the Namdapha and ban hunting around the PA. The one who hunts should be penalise by the community". He also added that, "However, The Miao-Vijaynagar road passing through the PA will be motorable but not black topped as per the guidelines, and it will be ready by the March 2022."

Once the road becomes motorable, research activities will be boosted and intense patrolling in more habitats will be done by STPF. With commitment from the highest authorities, Namdapha TR & NP is all set to regain its lost glory.
